DK - Natural Grey Llama

100% Baby Llama (Natural Grey)

 is wonderfully soft. The grey in this yarn comes from the natural grey Llama fleece. The fibre behaves in a similar way to alpaca, and this yarn is dreamy soft with a gentle halo. The yarn takes the dye well, and the natural coloured base provides a base which makes the colours dyed on top appear sophisticated and rich. The dye spreads in the same way that it does on alpaca.

The knitted fabric is really lovely, it is soft, but we find this keeps its shape slightly better than alpaca does, and it has a light airy quality. This would make lovely shawls and snuggly sweaters.
