Lace weight - alpaca/silk

This is a soft and silky yarn, with a gentle shine.   A lovely yarn for beginner lace knitters who might be intimidated by thinner yarns.  It knits up well on a 4mm needle to create a lovely plump fabric.   Great for lightweight garments, shawls and accessories.    Holds its shape well.

  • 70% baby alpaca
  • 30% silk
  • 600m per 100g

Guage and WPI:

  • 4mm - 19sts& 39 rows
  • WPI:  26 (Suitable for both warp and weft)
